As a native of Corinth, Dr. Glisson attended both Corinth and Kossuth High Schools before going to Northeast Mississippi Community College. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with Doctorates of Medicine and Pharmacy. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, MS, in June of 2005. After moving home in July, Dr. Glisson Opened Cross City Medical Clinic on September 6, 2005.

Amanda Wilburn, Pharm.D., is a clinical pharmacist and diabetes educator at the clinic. She is a graduate of Walnut High School and attended Northeast Mississippi Community College before graduating from the University of Mississippi with her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2003.

Dr. Glisson and his staff provide primary care for adults, including diabetes and hypertension management. Amanda Wilburn, Pharm.D., and Dr. Glisson work closely with patients to ensure they have a complete understanding of their medications before they leave the clinic. Another service offered at Cross City Medical Clinic is nutrition and exercise guidance, not only for those with diabetes, but for all interested patients. The clinic's mission is to provide detailed, individual medical care in a Christian environment.
